    Miao Wei, former minister of industry and information technology, said "China's new energy vehicle development has entered a brand-new stage of comprehensive market expansion, which will drive the NEV penetration rate to reach 50 percent as early as 2025."
    苗圩表示:“我國(guó)新能源汽車(chē)已進(jìn)入全面市場(chǎng)化拓展的新階段,最早在2025年新能源汽車(chē)滲透率將達(dá)到50%?!?/p>

    China set its goal, in 2020 that NEVs will become mainstream and account for more than 50 percent of the total auto sales by 2035.
    2020年,中國(guó)制定了到2035年新能源汽車(chē)滲透率超過(guò)50%的目標(biāo)。

    Miao added that the battery, which is at the heart of NEV, has also gained momentum and gained a lead globally, and highlighted the necessity of commercializing all-solid-state batteries for China.

    Miao made the comments on Monday during the founding conference of China All-Solid-State Battery Collaborative Innovation Platform, an industry platform to drive the development of all-solid-state batteries.
    苗圩周一在“中國(guó)全固態(tài)電池產(chǎn)學(xué)研協(xié)同創(chuàng)新平臺(tái)”成立大會(huì)上發(fā)表了上述觀點(diǎn),該平臺(tái)是一個(gè)推動(dòng)全固態(tài)電池發(fā)展的行業(yè)平臺(tái)。

    At the conference, Ouyang Minggao, an initiator of the platform and an academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, anticipated that all-solid-state batteries are a key battleground for next-generation battery technology, and are expected to be industrialized by 2030.
    “中國(guó)全固態(tài)電池產(chǎn)學(xué)研協(xié)同創(chuàng)新平臺(tái)”發(fā)起人、中國(guó)科學(xué)院院士歐陽(yáng)明高在會(huì)上表示,全固態(tài)電池是下一代電池技術(shù)競(jìng)爭(zhēng)的關(guān)鍵制高點(diǎn),預(yù)計(jì)2030年有望實(shí)現(xiàn)產(chǎn)業(yè)化。

    "Though China has gained a global lead in lithium-ion battery, the country still has a long way to go in the commercialization of all-solid-state batteries," Ouyang said.
    歐陽(yáng)明高說(shuō):“盡管中國(guó)的鋰電池技術(shù)已經(jīng)在全球取得領(lǐng)先,但在全固態(tài)電池的商業(yè)化方面,中國(guó)還有很長(zhǎng)的路要走。”

    He called for more joint efforts to develop such batteries to maintain China's advantage in batteries on the global stage.
    他呼吁行業(yè)各方應(yīng)全力以赴,共同推動(dòng)中國(guó)電池產(chǎn)業(yè)發(fā)展,形成持續(xù)引領(lǐng)全球電池行業(yè)之勢(shì)。
